Cinematic LUT pile
Cinematic LUT pile by KingkiddPh
A pile of my daily best Cinematic LUTs for Log and Rec709 footage that I use to give my footage a artistic look.
My LUTs are designed to give you a good cinematic artistic look for all kinds of shooting scenarios including Indoor, Outdoor and Landscape shots without having to spend hours colour grading your footage.
Tested to work on Canon, Sony, Blackmagic and Dji drones.
What's included?
- 9 Cinematic Luts for D-LOG (.cube files)
- 8 Cinematic Luts for Camera LOG (.cube files)
- 4 Cinematic Luts for Rec709 (.cube files)
If you want to create the best results:
Make sure to lower the intensity or opacity of the LUT and adjust the contrast, highlights and vibrance of your footage to fine tune the look to your style.
While these LUTs are designed to work with any footage, you will get the best results if your clips are shot in a flat picture profile for better dynamic range (eg. C-LOG, SLOG or D-LOG).
For footage that has already been corrected, the Rec709 LUTs will work best, for LOG footage, the LOG LUTs will work best. But note you are free to experiment the LOG LUTs to footage that has already been corrected.
Why use LUTs?
LUTs (Look Up Tables) are an effective way of applying a specific colour grade or correction to any of your footage.
- Save time editing
Applying a LUT to your footage is alot faster than manually adjusting the color yourself, which for long projects, or for freelancers editing for multiple clients, can be a massive time saver.
- Achieve a consistent look
One of the biggest challenges I face when starting as a filmmaker was achieving a consistent look and feel across all my videos.
LUTs can help to even out the colour and contrast of different footage, apply a styalised look, or provide a solid starting point to colour on top of, making it easier to achieve a consistent look across many projects.
Easy to use, helps achieve a consistent look and they save time editing.
